About Me
Hello and welcome! My name is Sasha and I am the owner and creator of Hipster & Co. Hipster & Co was stared way back in 2013, after having my first child. I started my business with a baby attached to my hip, thus how my shop name came about. Cool right! My company has evolved since starting, but one thing has always stayed the same. Everything in my shop is handmade by yours truely!
Here's a little about me and my journey to handcrafting my products:
- Born and raised in NYC. With an artist for a sister, I spent most of my days in museums and art galleries.
- Went to school to study engineering. Switched my major to physics. Switched again to foreign language. (I loved everything and couldn't make a decision). lol
- Worked in the fashion industry for over 10 years.
- Had my kids and decided I'd venture out and try to start my own hobby/turned business.
- Hipster & Co went through some phases. I went from sewing products...to working with polymer clays.
- Wanting to learn what I could, I continued my education. I took online courses and earned certificates in Women's Entreprenurship, Data Analytics, and Digital Marketing and E-Commerce.
- Continue to create lightweight, beautiful pieces that I can share with the world.
