About Me

    Hello! My name is Sasha and I am the creator and owner of Hipster & Co. My story goes way back to 2013. I was pregnant with my daughter and had found out I no longer had my job of over 12 years. After having my daughter and son, I found myself sewing and creating accessories. Having become a stay at home mom, I needed a creative outlet and I did that by sewing. I decided to turn my sewing into a business after getting requests from friends, family, and even strangers who questioned where I got my accessories from! 

    This is when Hipster & Co was born. The name is not what most people assume when they hear "Hipster".  Instead, "Hipster" came from me being a new mom and having to carry my daughter...and soon after, my son around on my hip while I was trying to build this creative business. The "& CO" refers to my kids, who were right by my side (literally) from the very beginning. 

    After a few years of sewing, I began working with clay and learning how to make beautiful, wearable pieces for myself. I loved the process and the results. I decided Hipster & Co would become a place where you could find beautiful, handmade earrings for almost any occasion! I hope to share my wearable art with the world.
